We stayed for a week at Autumn's Bonsaï Villa and absolutely loved it. The place is peaceful and comfortable. Our room was huge and the bed was large and very cosy. The pool was perfect to relax in after long days exploring. One thing we really appreciated was the laundry service, available for just a few euros – very convenient and well-handled. Breakfast was generous and of excellent quality. Autumn also helped us organise a day trip to Huế and the Imperial City with a private driver, which was fantastic. This family-run hotel made us feel truly welcome. It's only a 10-minute walk to the city centre, just across the bridge – close enough to everything, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet away from the noise. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

It’s a beautiful staying here and the host family is super friendly, helpful. They tried their best to make our trip better. Breakfast has many options, ordered direct to reception one day before so they can prepare it fresh. Autumn gave us recommendation how to get a cheap ticket for lantern boat since we have a big group, we used their transport to the airport after check out, the driver spoke excellent English and nice. Location isn’t far to the town center unless you have kids, you may consider. (Our group has 3 kids so it’s a bit hard to walk around all the time when the weather is so hot and depend on taxi) However the villa is located away from the town around 950m, it’s quiet and peaceful to relax. P/s: there is no lift here in case you have big and heavy baggage, you do need a mosquitoes spray.

Excellent localization, within walking distance of the old town, yet in a quiet and peaceful place. Wonderful surroundings, beautiful garden full of bonsai, swimming pool, fish pond. Nicely furnished, large room with a comfortable bed. Very good hot water in the bathroom, sparkling clean, good absorbent towels. The whole hotel is very clean. Excellent breakfast. The wifi worked well. The owner and the two housekeeper ladies are very kind and helpful, they helped with everything, the atmosphere is family The hotel's airport car service is very correct. Good value for money.

We liked so much about this place. The room was large and spacious, the bed was the most comfy in our whole trip, the shower had filtered water, we loved the balcony off the bedroom. Everything feels recently refurbished - lovely tiled floors, modern bathrooms. The family who run it are so helpful. We used their services for laundry which was fast, good value and excellent quality. we also booked the trip to My Son through them which we loved and was the same price as other tours. They helped us with restaurant ideas too. The location is convenient to the old town - 10 mins walk or five mins on the cycles which are free. Delicious omelette at breakfast!!

We stayed in the villa for 3 nights. This place is very enchanting with lots of bonsai trees and a bridge arching over a little pond with different colourful fishes. When we entered the room, again it was beautifully presented and tidy and had a lot of spaces and with good air conditioning. The bathroom was very spacious. The place was very close to the old town. They provided a very good breakfast with a decent amount. Autumn who runs this villa was very organised, attentive, and provided very good information about places to visit and dine in Hoi An and etc. We loved this villa very much and would stay again.

We stayed for five nights with our family at this lovely homestay, which is within comfortable walking distance of the old town yet tucked away in a tranquil neighborhood on the quieter Cám Nam Island. The location is perfect for travelers wanting to explore the vibrant bustle of Hoi An while having a peaceful retreat to unwind in the evening. The property itself is unique—a tastefully renovated building surrounding an atrium with an incredible collection of bonsai trees cultivated by the owner, as well as a swimming pool. The breakfast area is set under a roof with a beautiful view of the bonsai garden. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and serviced daily. We stayed in a spacious family room with three wide beds, two small balconies offering lovely views of the atrium, an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, ceiling fans, a fridge, and a kettle—everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners and staff were exceptional—friendly, accommodating, and genuinely caring. Their incredible service stood out during a moment when we needed extra support due to a minor health issue with our daughter. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, providing assistance and flexibility that made a significant difference in helping us get back on track quickly. Breakfasts were made to order from a menu, served promptly, and consistently fresh and delicious. The homestay also offers convenient amenities, including laundry service, bicycle rentals, and assistance with arranging tours. We would highly recommend Bonsai Homestay to any travelers seeking a convenient location for exploring Hoi An and a quiet, relaxing place to return to after a busy day.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bonsai Villa - it exceeded our expectations and was fantastic value for money. The family who own the hotel are lovely, the breakfast was a particular stand out for us, with lots of options and plenty to eat every morning. Our room was spacious and clean, with a big bathroom and balcony. The bed was the comfiest we have had in the 6 weeks we’ve been travelling SE Asia so far! We weren’t there long enough to use the pool but the bonsai trees around it were amazing to look at over breakfast. The location is great, in a quiet neighbourhood, just a short, pleasant walk into the old town. We also loved meeting their dogs Lulu and Tick! Overall, would highly recommend Bonsai Villa, we would definitely stay here again.

The family that run the hotel are like loved Uncle and Auntie's- you order breakfast the day before to help out and come time to have breakfast it is ready to eat in the beautiful bonsai garden with a pond full of large Koi fish. My son got sick, they always enquired, gave us extra supplies, and genuinely cared. They can organise anything you need, and when it came to leave, they came to our cabs door and waved goodbye. You can walk to the night markets and the old part of town really easily, it's about 1.5 km's. The streets are being re-laid, so you may have a little walk to the hotel but it's worth it.

Our experience at this hotel was exceptional from start to finish. Check-in was incredibly easy, and we were even able to check in as early as 9 AM, which was a lovely surprise! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome right away. The hotel looked just as beautiful as it did in the pictures. We were delighted with the peaceful atmosphere and the gorgeous garden, which added a touch of tranquility to our stay. We also requested an airport transfer, and for a small additional fee, we had a driver waiting for us at the airport, which was very convenient and made the whole process much smoother. One of the standout features was the laundry service—they offer laundry, which was a great convenience for us during our stay. The hotel is located in a quiet area, just a short walk to the city centre, so you get the best of both worlds: easy access to the city's attractions, but a calm and relaxing environment to return to at the end of the day. Overall, I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We stayed at Bonsai Villa Hoi A for 2 nights, and it was perfect - there are plenty of beautiful bonsai, as promised in the name. The room was cozy, it had everything we needed. The host was lovely, she recommended places to visit, provided us with a lot of tips and let us check in early. She also helped us getting a taxi to the airport when we were leaving. The breakfast is great, it is not a buffet, you order a night before. There are plenty of delicious options. The property is about 10 mins walk (if you walk really slow cause you’re taking photos) from the ancient town. Which is great, because it’s close enough but very quiet, so you can get some rest away from all the noise of the city. We loved our stay at Bonsai Villa Hoi An, and we’ll definitely stay there again when visiting Hoi An.
